At the heart of our programs are the values of balance and sustainability — not just in the products we use, but in how we train and support future professionals. Our immersive approach blends guided theory, hands-on practice, and real-world salon experience.

Our curriculum emphasizes practical skills from day one. Our goal is to build a strong foundation in each student, giving them the tools, mindset, and experience to begin their journey as an apprentice or emerging stylist

Our Fall 2025 Intake is Full. any new applications will be added to the 2026 waitlist.

program Details

Our training model is uniquely structured compared to traditional programs. We offer two 150-hour programs over six months, with classes held two days per week. The first day focuses on theory and technical learning in a classroom setting, while the second day provides a hands-on salon immersion experience, allowing students to apply their skills in a real-world environment. We follow BC Industry Training Authority Standards in the development of our programs.

With years of experience in salon education, we've found that our students gain greater confidence in their skills through hands-on practice in real-world scenarios. By structuring the program over two days per week, students not only receive immersive training but also have the flexibility to earn an income while they learn.

The first 150 hours, Paint the Foundations, is a beginner friendly program designed to build a strong foundation in styling and colour theory. The second 150 hours, Sculpt the Foundations, prepares you with the fundamental of cutting and barbering.
