The Current is a training academy which means you have access to our motivated junior stylists as well as our elite master stylists. 

Depending on your preference and hair goal, we offer a range of stylists with corresponding pricing. This is an ideal scenario because our pricing can be as accessible as you choose.

Level 1 Apprentice

Under 2 years experience; must complete 300 hours of technical classroom training.

Level 2 Junior Stylist

Under 4 years experience; must complete another 150 hours of technical training.

4-8 years experience; 50 hours of advanced classroom training; 50 hours of teaching apprentices/junior stylists.

Refresh

Our quickest colour service. Choose between a glaze for added shine/change of tone, OR a regrowth touch-up (1.5 hrs).

Frame

Get ready to Frame your beauty. Opt for a brightening pop of colour along the hairline, OR a sleek all-over colour, OR a regrowth touch-up paired with a glaze (2 hrs)

enhance

Treat yourself to a colour Enhancement. Choose from partial foils for dimension, OR partial balayage for a sun-kissed effect, OR bleach out regrowth lowlights for depth and contrast (2.5 hrs).

brighten

Welcome to Brighten, our transformative colour service designed to illuminate your style. Choose from a full head of foils for multidimensional colour, OR foilayage for a seamlessly blended look, OR a striking bleach out on short hair (3 hrs).

Blonde

This is our premium Blonde experience where no hair goes untouched! Includes a full head of foils with a tip out or balayage in between OR a bleach out on long hair (3.5 hrs).

CORRECTION

We provide colour correction services when you desire an edit or update to a recent colour service. Colour corrections are also used when you want a specific result that cannot be accomplished in less than 4 hours (4+ hrs).

(15 Minute) Fringe

Get quick touch-up for your fringe or hairline clean up with our 15-minute cut (no wash or blowdry).

(30 Minutes) Clipper/Pixie

A fast haircut, perfect for a fine hair clipper cut or maintaining a pixie (wash and quick style included).

(45 Minutes) Short haircut

A short haircut for 5 inches or less (wash, scalp massage, and blowdry included).

(60 Minutes) Bob Haircut

A haircut for collarbone-length, medium-density hair (wash, scalp massage, and blowdry included).

(75 Minutes) medium/long haircut

A haircut for someone with hair past their collarbone, with medium thickness (wash, scalp massage, and blowdry included).

(90 Minutes) Extra Long HAircut

Ideal for individuals with very long, thick hair OR thick curly/wavy clients first their first salon visit. This service is designed to provide ample time for your unique cutting/styling needs (wash, scalp massage, and blowdry included).

A demi-permanent colour service that blends greys, adds shine, and softens hair texture for a natural and subtle look. This colour gradually fades over about six weeks (90 mins).

We custom craft treatments for both hair and scalp to meet your needs and offer this service complimentary to new guests who book a consultation.
